This website does not provide accounts, contact forms, newsletter signup forms, or comment submissions. Its delivered browser code does not set analytics cookies, use advertising pixels, or store a visitor profile in local storage. The navigation, reading-progress indicator, and feed-copy action work in your browser.
Hosting and technical information
The hosting provider or content-delivery service may process technical requests and access logs, including IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times. The site’s static files do not determine all hosting-level logging or retention settings. Contact the publication for questions about the deployed service.
Fonts and third-party destinations
Pages request the Michroma and Space Grotesk typefaces from Google Fonts. Those requests connect your browser to Google-hosted font resources and can disclose technical request information. If the fonts are unavailable, the page uses fallback fonts.
Articles also link to external sources. Following a link takes you to a separate website with its own practices. This notice does not describe or control those third-party websites.
Email correspondence
A contact link opens your email application. Sending a message shares the information you choose to include with the receiving mailbox and the email services involved. Please do not send passwords, account credentials, private financial documents, or sensitive identity information.
Correspondence may be used to respond to your message, assess a topic suggestion, or review a correction. This page does not promise a specific retention period or assume that email is a secure channel for confidential document review.
RSS and clipboard use
The RSS feed is publicly accessible without providing an email address. An RSS reader may have its own account and privacy practices. The copy-feed button attempts to place the public feed address on your clipboard after you click it; it does not read existing clipboard contents.
